The user may borrow books from other collaborative academic libraries by carrying out an online search of the item via the online «ΖΕΦΥΡΟΣ» library catalogue , through which access to virtually any academic library is granted. Terms for Inter-library loan (loaning period, fines etc.) are dependant on the collaborating libraries concerned. Time delivery varies between 1 to 2 weeks. The ASFA does not hold itself responsible for any delays. Upon arrival of the item at the library, the user will be notified via telephone or e-mail. Delivery and return of the item is done by courier and the receiver is charged for any expenses. The item must be returned to the ASFA library loan desk on time. Failure to do so will result in an overdue fine charged by the collaborative library.

The library will service inter-library book loan requests both within Greece and abroad. It is also possible for members from other libraries to submit inter – library requests in person, by showing an inter-library application form signed by the person in charge of their library. Loan period is 15 days without renewal. Regarding loan limits of all printed material, the type of items that may be loaned as well as the loaning periods, the same rules as with any type of member of the academic society apply (academic staff, managerial, student etc, see …find out what kind of item I can loan and for how long). Delivery and return of any items are done by courier, with the receiver been responsible of all fee charges. No fee will be charged for loans concerning inter-library requests in person.
